Mr. Keith Wu is the Chairman and CIO of WeTrust Asset Management, a cross border asset manager based out of Singapore. Prior to founding WeTrust, Keith was the Head of Equity Investment for China Everbright Limited (0165.HK). He was also the Portfolio Manager for Everbright China Focus Fund since the fund's inception in Jan 2014. Keith and his fund won many industry awards including: Three consecutive years of winning the most prestigious China Securities Journal's Golden Bull Private Fund Manager Awards (2017,2018, 2019), China Fund Journal's Best 3-Yr Equity Private Fund (2018), Eurekahedge's Best Asian Absolute Return Long Only Fund (2016), and BarclayHedge's No.1 Emerging Market Equity – Asian Hedge Fund Champion (2015).
Before Everbright, Keith was the General Manager of the Private Fund Department for Shanghai Zendai Investment Management, one of the pioneer equity hedge fund house in mainland China from 2009 to 2012. Prior to Zendai, Keith had been an investment counsellor at UBS Singapore and HSBC Private Bank, providing investment advices on portfolio asset allocation and Greater China equities for family offices, smaller hedge funds and ultra-HNWI clients.
Keith holds a Master Degree of International Finance from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and a MSc. In Management from Stanford Graduate School of Business (Sloan Fellow). He is also a CFA Charterholder and a member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
